ON GOOD FRIDAY - 'JOURNEY TO THE CROSS'
3 APRIL
Jesus went to the cross out of His deep love for us.
On Good Friday, we invite you to journey with us, to the cross, in remembrance of the price that He paid for us.
15:00-17:00 PRAYER WALK, for all ages
Between 15:00-17:00, we will have an interactive prayer walk, in the church, pausing to remember each step of Jesus’ path to the cross.
You are welcome to move at your own pace through 10 different interactive stations, each designed to help all ages engage with the story of Easter.
You can plan for the prayer walk to take approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Come as you are, take your time, and make space to reflect.
20:15 COMMUNION SERVICE OF REFLECTION
On Good Friday evening, we invite you to a tenebrae-style service of communion.
"'Tenebrae" is simply Latin for "darkness" and beginning with a service of communion, we will move through the story of Jesus’ suffering — Scripture by Scripture, moment by moment — as the room slowly darkens.
This service will provide a space to reflect, to pray, and to draw near to the cross… not just to understand it, but to encounter Jesus in it. Will you come?
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord,
and believe in your heart that Jesus raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.

ON EASTER DAY - 'RESURRECTION' SUNDAY
SUNDAY 5 APRIL
Sunday is coming... Good Friday is not the end of the story.
Jesus died - AND He rose from the dead. Death is not the end. New life is found in Jesus.

On Easter Sunday, our service of celebration will also include a baptism service - what better picture can there be of having found new life in Jesus?
