What holds a divided world together?

Amid global tension and division, we gather as one family in Christ, across nations, languages, and cultures.

As we worship together, our unity becomes a powerful testimony to the world: Jesus brings us together, and our love for one another makes Him visible.

🎥 Head over to our YouTube channel, IC The Garden, to hear the full message on authentic worship by Cheri Cochran.

Different cultures, different backgrounds, different expressions of worship, what holds us together?

Jesus is both King and Servant, Lion and Lamb. As His church, we’re also called to hold together things that may seem opposed: celebrating our diversity while pursuing unity in Him.

Last Sunday, Cheri Cochran shared three things to consider as we explore authentic worship together. Diversity and unity was the first, curious about the other two?

What Your Resistance Is Trying to Tell You.

Have you ever felt uncomfortable with a way of expressing worship that’s different from your own?

This past Sunday, Cheri Cochran explored authentic worship—and how our reactions to different expressions of worship might reveal what we believe about God, the church, and our calling.

What might the Holy Spirit show you if you bring that resistance to Him?

🎥 Watch the full sermon on our YouTube channel: International Church The Garden.

We remember. 7 October 2023.

This terrible act of terrorism has left deep scars, in families, in communities, and in the hearts of so many. We cannot forget. We honour the lives lost and stand alongside all who continue to carry the grief and trauma of that day.

As International Church The Garden, we stand firmly against antisemitism. Our Christian faith is rooted in the story of Israel, and Romans 11 reminds us that we have been grafted into the olive tree—the root supports us. We receive this with gratitude and humility.

In a world in turmoil, we pray for every person affected by war. Every life is precious to God.

We pray for comfort for those who mourn, healing for the wounded, protection for the vulnerable, and lasting peace.

Lord, help us to carry Your love, stand against hatred, and work for peace. 🤍

In this age of AI, our hearts long for authenticity and intimacy with God.

Intimacy calls us to be intentional, to set time apart, turn our eyes upon Jesus, and seek His face wholeheartedly.

That’s the heart of Encounter.

We worship Him because He is worthy of our adoration, our attention, and our surrendered hearts. Together, we pray, we’re still, and we make room for the Holy Spirit to move.

We listen. We respond. We surrender.

As we behold Jesus, He shapes us to become more like Him—so that what happens in His presence carries into our everyday lives. Ready to reflect His love, serve Him, and be His witnesses wherever He places us.

“Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
— Psalm 27:8

Come as you are. Let’s pursue Him wholeheartedly, together. 🤍

In His hands. 🌿

A reminder for each of us: we are held and cared for by God.

Just as a gardener tends his plants, He tends the garden of our hearts, nurturing our roots, pruning where needed and helping us grow.

May we make room for Him to work, trusting His care in every season.

There’s something powerful about women coming together to worship Jesus, share life and grow in faith. 🌿

Such a beautiful morning at BLOOM—around the breakfast tables, in worship and listening to God’s Word. Time to connect, encourage one another and remember who we are in His hands.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this morning possible. So grateful we get to grow together. 🤍

“What we behold is what we become.” 🌿

Sophia shared about beholding and becoming, a reminder to consider where we place our attention and affection, and how that shapes us.

Who do we turn to on the mountaintops… and in the valleys? As we turn our eyes to Jesus, we grow to become more like Him.

Thank you, Sophia, for encouraging us to keep looking to Him. 🤍

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus.”

Tirza led us in this beautiful song, a moment to be still, listen and reflect on what we had heard.

To turn our attention and affection towards Jesus, and let the words become our own worship.
