Practicing The Way in 2026

In 2026, we will run the Practising the Way ("PTW") course here in The Garden.

Starting at the end of January, we will run the course after our Sunday morning services with a potluck lunch, so it's a great opportunity to build community and to get to know other people, in addition to growing together and going deeper with Jesus. (The timing of this course may also help if joining a Garden Group that meets mid-week is more difficult for you.)

This video gives you a quick introduction to the content of the course, and here are a few other ideas by way of introduction:

1. Two related books might be a good gift idea, either to treat yourself or someone you love. Both are by John Marc Comer: 

   1. Practicing the Way: Be with Jesus. Become like him. Do as he did, and 

   2. The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry (How to stay emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world).

      
      

2. Listen to the PTW podcast: Each session explores what it means in everyday terms to be with Jesus, to become like him, and do as he did, and how to make space for your spiritual life to flourish.
