THIS MONTH IN THE GARDEN

There is always something growing in The Garden - here is a snapshot of just a few.

Summer often brings with it a change of routine in these warmer longer days, so from Sunday 12 July, and then for the next 4 weeks, we'll be starting at 11:00 instead with The (Summer) Garden.

The service will be a little more informal, and many of those who serve on our teams will take a break - but there will be children's activities for ages 4–11, as well as an air-conditioned overflow room where parents with little ones can still be part of the service.

Remember to bring a picnic for lunch afterwards.

The (Summer) Garden is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy what it means to be planted in community together. We hope you'll take the opportunity to come, meet others, encourage one another, and worship God together.

Our BRAVE Youth spent the evening at the beach, cooling off in the water, and making memories. What a beautiful way to kick off the summer! 🌊❤️

We’re so proud of this incredible group of young people. Many have just finished their exams or another school year and are stepping into a new season. It’s such a joy to see them choosing community, building genuine friendships, and growing in their faith together.

As the summer holidays begin, we pray you’ll enjoy every moment. May your days be filled with rest, joy, laughter, adventure, and God’s protection. We pray that you’ll continue to grow closer to Jesus, make wonderful memories with family and friends, and return refreshed for all that God has in store.

Father’s Day at The Garden 🌳

This Sunday we celebrated the fathers and father figures among us, men who love, lead, serve, encourage, protect, and pray.

Our message reminded us that true strength is found when we stay rooted in our Heavenly Father. As Jeremiah 17 says, those who trust in the Lord are like trees planted by water, remaining strong even when the heat comes.

Thank you to all the dads, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and role models who faithfully invest in the next generation.

We honour and appreciate you.

Father’s Day can bring many different emotions.

For some, it’s a day of gratitude and celebration. For others, it can be a reminder of loss, disappointment, absence, or a relationship that was never what it should have been.

Wherever you find yourself, you are welcome.

This Sunday we will gather as family and be reminded that we have a Heavenly Father who never leaves us, never forsakes us, and whose love remains constant through every season.

Geraldine Nooter will share a message titled:
“From Fearful to Faithful – Rooted in the Father’s Heart”

Together we’ll discover how fear loses its grip when our lives are rooted in God’s love, presence, and faithfulness.

After the service, stay and enjoy fellowship, community, and a barbecue together (approximately 12:00–13:30).

The men from our Band of Brothers team will be firing up the grill, and we’d love for everyone to stay and connect.

Seven years ago, we planted a seed. Who would have imagined what God would do?

Seven years of preparing the soil, laying foundations, planting seeds, and learning to trust God through every season.

Looking back, we see His hand everywhere. What started as a small gathering has become a diverse, international church family, planted together, rooted in Jesus, and growing in faith.

The first seven years were about establishing roots, building community, and creating a place where people could belong, become, and bear fruit.

In Scripture, seven often speaks of completion and transition. As we celebrate God’s faithfulness over the first seven years, we also sense His invitation ahead of us.

The seeds have been sown. The foundation has been laid. The soil has been prepared.

Now we look forward with expectation to what God will do in the next seven years.

To Him be all the glory.

Rene van den Bor is our special guest speaker this Sunday at The Garden.

While work was being done on the roof of our church, we had an unexpected conversation high above Hilversum.

That’s where we met Rene van den Bor and Jef.

What followed was a powerful reminder that the Gospel still changes lives today.

In this testimony, Jef shares how, despite having so much going for him, something was still missing. Until someone took the time to share the love, hope, and truth of Jesus with him.

This Sunday, you’ll hear from the very man God used in that story.

We believe testimonies matter because they remind us that Jesus is still changing lives today.
